Blogging was definitely my favorite thing about English 4. Whenever I heard “Blog Day” I knew it was going to be a good day. My Blogs so far have been about the animes that I watch. I show anime off because it is relaxing to watch when you get home from a day of work or a day of school. It is a way for me to sit back and relax, and I always thought of it as a happy place. I have never once been sad while watching anime; it is just one of those things that boost my mood when I need it. I like blogs because it is what YOU want it to be, no guidelines, no rules, just 300 words about something you are interested in. I enjoyed coming to class and sitting down, reading my book of the month, and getting straight into my blog post.
Whenever I blog my mind goes wild. I start thinking of everything from that anime, and it plays in my head like a movie, and I write down my shortened or summed up version of the anime. I can always find an anime to write about as well, there are thousands of animes, thousands. And I won’t ever run out of anime to watch because if I finish one I can always find another. I love blog posting and everything about it, it really got my mind on paper, and shows what I have been doing on my off time. I love the way blogs were setup. Blogs were a relaxing piece of homework that never had me overthinking about anything and I could just put what I wanted on Edublogs. I haven’t found a bad day when I had a blog to do in English. If you don’t like anything else in this class that we do, which I know some people are just not english or reading fans, do the blogs. They are a nice way to get your mind out and free up a little space in the brain.
In all, I have had a really good year with blogs. Blogs were one thing I came to class happy about, and it wasn’t a long homework assignment by any means, it is a small assignment for points that gets your brain thinking. If your brain doesn’t get at least some of the things out that you don’t need left in there, it gives you room to learn more.
We are returning with another post about Sword Art Online. Sword Art came back with a great second season, showed the new World Seed, made the Fairy Arc. Fairy Arc was the start of the game not killing anyone. With the first season, anyone who died in the game dies in real life. They changed this when they made the world seed. When you first hop into the game you get to choose a race to be. Spriggan, Salamander, Undine, those are just a few of the nine races. Kirito chose a Spriggan because they have powers that can change you to a monster, or even manipulate the enemy with visions.

Alfheim had it’s up’s and it’s downs. It never seemed to be a real fast pace, they always took the anime slow, and it has a great story attached to it. When Kirito finds Asuna, they live in a cabin together and start living their best lives in the game. Asuna and Kirito eventually find Yui. She is a “little girl” that they find out in the forest all by her lonesome. Yui helps Kirito eventually by defeating an undefeatable boss that he could not kill. They find out she was a missing piece of the system that had been rejected, so she is able to access the Cardinal system. It’s a system that is running the whole game, kind of like a software, and she can break the game from the inside of it.

I feel as if Sword Art Online is an anime that can get an Award. It truly is that good. I love how they have the group of friends that do a lot with each other, it reminded me of past times and it made me feel good on the inside. I also love the fact that you don’t have to like anime to watch this series. It’s a series for everyone, everyone who loves action of course.
Sword Art Online. Such a great anime to watch if you just love the fighting and dramatic endings. I really relate to Sword Art Online in many ways. One of them would be that I would love to have a VR where if you survive you live, if you don’t, well, you don’t live. My favorite character is 100% Agil. He is a friend of Kirito’s that owns a bar across the street from his apartment that he got to meet in the game. Agil also owns a bar in the game, so they eventually met there later in the first season.

I relate to Agil as well, he’s a very lonely character. He’s always been a lone wolf though, in the lore of the anime it says that both of his parents died before he was even the age of 10. I don’t relate to the death of his parents, but my parents haven’t always been the best. I was always on my own with things, my sister being the little one in the family, get’s babied and anything and everything she wants. I like being on my own for some things, it helps me think better, I don’t have to be told what to do anymore, it’s amazing. It’s also relating to Kirito, he never has to be told what to do in VR, and that’s why he loves it so much. I truly think that Kirito is the heart of his group. He is the string that keeps everything together.

This is just a few of many reasons why I love this anime. It has helped me through my situation that I have been dealing with for about 4 years now. I don’t know what I would do without Sword Art Online.
Today’s blog will be about Sword Art Online. Sword Art is undoubtedly one of the best animes to have ever come out. Season one was about a kid named Kirito who got into a VR game and couldn’t get out unless he beat the game. The concept of Sword Art is that it is an MMO RPG in VR and if you get killed in the virtual world, you die in the real world.
In the anime Sword Art, Kirito is one of few beta players, which meant he played the game before it even released, so he got a head start :). He ends up meeting a girl named Asuna, they get to become partners and do dungeons together, but little did he know that she was a beta player as well, so them together was like hacks. Kirito found out that he has an ability that no one else even knows about, he can dual wield swords. So he was always the most over powered character in the game for most of the story, until he meets the creator. Kirito also has a friend group that he goes out and adventures with, he didn’t trust them for awhile because his old squad died in front of his eyes, but he eventually gained trust and joined their squad. Kirito also finds out that he isn’t the only one with cool abilities, in season three a girl has an ability that is an 11 hit combo. It may not seem like much, but those are life taking strikes, and she has eleven of them. He realizes as well that he can stop the creator and stop Sword Art forever, or at least he thought he could. After he sees the end, an egg is hatched, waiting to form a new world.
Have you ever wondered what our world would be like if we were in the same world as the Soul Eaters? It would be crazy to see everyone killing and trying to eat souls all around us. Death the kid is by far the most interesting one of the group. He hates anything that isn’t symmetric. That is why his favorite number is 8. He can never only have one partner which is why he has to have the twins as his weapons.
Kid was never the one to do amateur work. He is the kid of Death anyway, his father expects a lot more out of him because he has the rings of Ashura, which makes him one of the strongest main characters. He never experienced a whole lot of love as a kid, mainly a lot of work and training due to his father. Soul Eater has a great way of putting action into an anime. It is an action packed anime that has great features like a comedy. I love the part when Soul finds out that the “witch” he was gonna eat was actually a cat that can transform into a witch. It’s great because all of the anticipation leading up to him being a death scythe, is lost.. by a cat. I also admire the fact that there isn’t a great power difference in men or women. I hate how they make a lot of animes about strong men, I wanna see a woman kick some ass in an anime every once in awhile. Now that it’s 2022 things have changed dramatically, but it’s cool to see women main characters in TV shows. I wanna see the creators come out with another series like Soul Eater because it was by far one of the best anime’s I’ve watched.
Soul Eater. We talked about it in the last blog, and only got to Black Star and the main concept. We gotta dig deep into what’s behind all of this. In Soul Eater the Academy is ran by Death, he is the all Father of the Academy, his soul is so huge, it can trap the whole island into it, and that’s how he protects all of the kids. Souls are used to sense other people/witches and also used to show how strong you are. Meisters are supposed to be the only beings to sense a soul but if a weapon becomes strong enough they can then sense Souls the same way. That’s where Death Scythes come into play, they are weapons that have eaten 99 corrupted souls and 1 witch soul. Death Scythes are very unique, they can be used as a very very strong weapon in the hands of a meister but can also be a weapon on their own know that they can control their power a lot more.
This is Stein^^^. He is one of the most powerful Meisters Death has had as a student. Now, while he is very strong, he is also crazy, like, bat out of hell crazy. If you are being trained by him he will take your body and start dissecting it as an “Experiment” and gets away with it. The only people to have come out with sense left was Black Star and Maka. They have overcome Stein’s crazy thoughts because they were able to fight him off “Black Star almost died but it is ok.”
The biggest part of the villain side of Soul Eater has to be the Keishan Ashura. Ashura is said to be the strongest being on the planet. He is the villain who has eaten 100 human souls, when that is done one will become a Keishan.
My Blog today is going to be about the world of Soul Eater. Soul Eater is an anime that started in the early 2000s and has been my favorite anime for a long long time. I have re watched it about 5 times all the way through. Soul Eater is about a Meister and their Weapon. They have to connect their souls so that they can use the abilities that come with soul linking. One of the abilities that Maka uses is Witch Hunter, it is a move that uses the soul power from the Meister to boost the Weapons power, and in return makes the weapon deal a lot more damage and can cut through any evil. Maka is one of the Main characters in Soul Eater, it is Maka, Soul, Black Star, Subaki, Death the Kid, and the Twins. One of the main reasons on why this is one of my favorite animes is because their are so many characters that you meet, my favorite being Black Star.
Black Star is a complete mad man. In the beginning of the anime he isn’t all together necessarily. He is a child in the beginning because he cannot control his emotion. But in the later period of the anime he is able to wield the Shadow Sword. He has a Nemesis which is Mifune. Mifune is a grand Ninja who helps Black Star become the man he is. Mifune is the type of Villain to have no care about anything besides the witch he protects. He has the technique Infinite Swords, which he then begins to throw around 100 swords onto the field and uses them as he goes.
Soul Eater in a whole is these group of kids trying to make their weapons a Death Scythe which is the strongest type of weapon you can be, and Death, the leader of the Academy, is trying to get these 7 to all become the best Meister and Weapons to ever live.
